This site is about Dearborn, plain and simple.

Having spent a portion of my journalistic career at The Detroit News looking at Dearborn from behind a reporter’s notebook, it felt natural to start this website as a way to once again put the focus back on the city I love and have lived in all my life.

deepSaidwhat will look at the good things going on and provide analysis and commentary on some of the other stories making news in the city, too.

I want this site to be a two-way street. If you have something on your mind that deepSaidwhat should focus on then let’s talk about it.

If you come away saying, “Deep said what?” or you don’t agree with something I said, I want to hear that, too.

Let’s talk Dearborn.
