LA PITA CELEBRATES 12 YEARS OF FANTASTIC FOOD, SERVICE

Congratulations to La Pita Restaurant in Dearborn on its 12th anniversary. This restaurant serves a fantastic blend of Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine that is almost as delicious as my mother’s cooking. The staff can be nearly as friendly, too.

Located at 22681 Newman St., the restaurant recently added a nice list of wines, beers and a big screen TV in its comfortable Mezza Lounge, located off the main dining area.

La Pita is the only restaurant in Dearborn with an attached banquet hall that can seat well over 200 people.

Everything on the menu is prepared fresh daily. My favorites: chicken or lamb kabob and the chicken cilantro soup. Add a side of hommous or some labeneh with garlic and cucumber -- along with La Pita’s famous fresh baked bread -- and, well, life doesn’t get much better.
